Brief Job Expectations:

Event Supervisor
Description: Assumes total responsibility for managing and directing catered events meeting the standards set by Pear Tree Catering. Manage the event staff during the initial set-up, the actual event, the breakdown and the clean-up. Take directions from the Pear Tree Catering event planner. Maintain a professional managerial relationship with the staff. Help with on the job training. Act as the team leader for events. Must be able to interact with clients at events with professionalism

Qualifications: Must be an energetic person with the drive and passion to produce high quality events by managing a staff in a team environment. Catering and/or restaurant experience necessary. Must be able to work nights and most weekends. Grooming and courtesy on the job is essential.

Bartender
Description: Bartenders prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while demonstrating excellent customer service. We expect that you will consistently prepare drinks by following recipes. Bartenders are responsible for setting-up the bar prior to the event and tearing down the bar after the event. They will be expected to complete a pre-count of their inventory and a post count.

Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Some lifting is involved. English language and professional communication skills are required. Must have the ability to work in a team environment as well as work calmly under pressure. Grooming and courtesy on the job is essential.

Server
Description: Servers are expected to quickly and efficiently serve guests, with knowledge of the food and beverage items being served. As a full service catering operation, set up and tear down are also our responsibility, therefore, the ability to work in a team environment and to work calmly and effectively under pressure is essential.

Qualifications: English language and professional communication skills are a must. The ability to lift a tray weighing approximately up to 30lbs is necessary. Prior server experience is helpful, but not necessary. Must be 18 or older and have reliable transportation. Need to be able to work fast in a hectic environment without losing sight of the quality. Grooming and courtesy on the job is essential.

Catering Driver
Description: Detail-oriented person want to oversee the successful and professional expediting of all catering deliveries from our facility to clients throughout the Metropolitan Area.

Qualifications: You have a valid driver's license... You are familiar with our city's streets and traffic regulations and be able to read and interpret directions... Must be well-organized and focused... Must be punctual, and available during AM and PM shifts.
